![]() Also, with as happy as Elijah is with the way his life is going at the beginning of the book, he doesn’t even question the complete 180 his thoughts and feelings make. It could be explained by panic response or an emergency situation, but other than Hadley having a quick thought about it, it is not mentioned. Firstly, Elijah, at one point jumps into Hadley’s car at a very important moment, and is sitting in some really gross stuff….but has no response. There are, as always a few things that bothered me, mostly minor. ![]() The progression of the relationship between Elijah and Hadley is really great and feels very organic, which is largely due to the author giving us Elijah’s perspective, and watching the way he interacts with Hadley’s daughter, Lucy. It is not really enemies-to-lovers, more like….annoyance-to-friends-to-lovers. ![]() ![]() It’s a little bit different from other romances I have read. ![]()
